Transit Times
Please allow for 1-10 days in transit time for standard shipping. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout. Transit times are approximate and do not include order processing and handling time.
Shipment Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days of when we receive the order. Most orders ship within one business day. Orders with ink kits, printers and printed film may require more processing time, please allow up to 2-3 days for these items. Orders are shipped from our warehouses in Meridian, ID or NJ. Our NJ fulfilment center only ships film and limited ink products. All ink cartridges, ink kits, printers, and printed film will ship from our ID warehouse. Orders with multiple items may ship from one or more of our warehouses or drop shipped directly from one of our vendors. You will receive multiple shipping notifications in this instance. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
On occasion, such as during new product drops or holidays (OR CURRENTLY DURING COVID 19), we may experience a high volume of orders and as such shipments may be delayed leaving our warehouse by a few days.
Shipping
Film Direct offers $8.00 standard flat rate shipping on orders under $75.00 and free standard shipping on any order over $75.00 to the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and International customers please contact us for best rates. Standard shipping transit time is between 2-10 days.
The flat rate and free shipping option will ship economy USPS or UPS. If you choose an expedited shipping method please allow handling time. Please note when choosing an expedited shipping method, due to the current Covid-19 situation UPS and USPS have suspended their guaranteed service. If the order is delayed we will not be able to offer a refund on expedited shipping.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Damaged, Delayed or Lost Packages
Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise. In the event that your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged please save all packing material and damaged goods to support a claim. Film Direct is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after they have been delivered. Film Direct is not responsible for carrier delays and will not provide any sort of reimbursement in the event a package is delayed through no fault of Film Direct.
Returns Policy
Film Direct accepts returns on the condition that the item/s still include all of the original packaging, instructions, receipt, and has not been used, damaged, or altered in anyway. Items must be received within 30 days from date of purchase to receive a refund for the order items. Items returned after 30 days and before 60 days are eligible for in store credit only.
Shipping costs will not be refunded.
Items must be unused and undamaged.
All returns will be carefully inspected before giving a refund, or credit.
Returns on some items may be subjected to a 20% restocking fee.
The customer is responsible for any and all shipping charges.
Please do not send any items back unless you have contacted a sales representative for return instructions.
Nonreturnable Items:
- Opened consumables (such as inkjet cartridges, film, bulk ink bottles)
- Opened Printers or printers shipped LTL
- Software is non refundable

By using the services provided by Film Direct you agree to hold Film Direct harmless from any defects in the film, art or separations. It is up to the end user to proof the film and separations before going to press. Our only obligation is to replace the defective film and or separation. By using our services you agree to this policy.
The customer assumes all liability from installing aftermarket inks and or cartridges in their printer. Film Direct does not warranty or imply warranty on use of any our ink or cartridge products in any printing device and our only obligation is to replace the defective ink. Use of this product signifies acceptance of policy.
